Alder and Solid Brass Fountain pen

This Fountain pen has been made using solid brass components. The Nib is iridium and the pen accepts standard ink cartridges which are available freely in shops and on line.
The Alder wood has been shaped on my lathe and then waxed to a smooth sheen. It was very slightly embellished with Gold gilt cream which you can see if you look closely.
A lovely pen which is suitable as any kind of gift from Weddings to Birthdays and Christmas. As a leaving / retirement gift or as a special pen for anyone to use and show off.
