Distance transfer template system
The idea for this tool came to me when I was adding a plug socket strip to a wall, and after searching for a long time without finding why I needed I decided to make one.
Comprised of two slide butts, a spirit level, and a metal ruler the system accurately reproduces the hole distance from the object to a wall for fixing.
The system, created using Walnut hardwood and Brass or Chrome fittings and takes a standard pencil. in the middle is a movable spirit level so you know you will get it straight first time!
The Distance transfer system is great for DIY'ers, Trade, Contractors, Handymen, to anyone who has a need.
Designed over a period of years it has had many different versions till I found the one that is simple enough whilst being accurate and easy to use, it is a great addition to anyone toolbox.
I always look at the most efficient method of operation - I am an industrial Engineer, so in everything I do I like to challenge myself.
